Review on Lava Electronics HD 2605 Antenna Control by Wayne Laguna

Revainrating 4 out of 5

FITS MY PURPOSE.

I live in a rural area where there is no cable and I don't want to deal with any contracts. I placed my antenna on a 3/4 inch piece of pipe at fifteen feet and began picking up crystal clear signals. I receive all channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CW, PBS, as well as sub-channels (Example: 6.1 is CBS. 6.2 is THISTV, shows old movies) the number of channels received depends on the atmospheric conditions, but I receive constantly receive fourteen If everything is fine I receive up to 24 channels. The price of this antenna is about what I paid for an extended package from a cable company when I lived in the city for a month.I have had this antenna for almost three years months at no extra cost. also the amp/remote has two outputs on the back so i can connect two tvs without a splitter. this solves my living room and bedroom problems. since i only have two tvs, that's enough. the most important mine Complaint (which has been corroborated by many other reviewers) is that it's impossible to tell which way the antenna is pointing without actually going outside and looking at what What I did was focus on one channel that gives me the most other channels and use that as my base. That way, when I go on a quest, I can always return to my "home base". The antenna is quite light but has survived three very strong storms (at least for South Georgia) and still works great. I had a couple of my friends who were so impressed they asked me to order for them because they didn't have a Revain account. I am very happy.
