Our kids in their 20's and 30's bought this for my husband for Father's Day. My daughter asked for my opinion and I was like "Ooooh the speakers will probably get tinny, poor quality, just a fancy gift, probably not worth it!" My husband will think it's a waste of money. He is very practical. Our adult children bought it anyway! Everything I thought was completely wrong! It's amazing, like the portable size we had in the '60s and '70s. We love it! It brings back the times when you sat at the turntable, kept listening to records, changing them, listening to your favorite songs, etc. It's a whole experience. The speakers were clear and incredibly good, unlike the old laptops, and the volume filled the room! First we played my husband's ABBA albums and the dance moves started in just a few minutes! Great time and we'll go through some of those old ABBA, BEATLES< SHA-NA-NA, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and more. Albums we haven't touched in over 40 years oh my god that makes me sound so old and we don't! AN ALL-ROUND DELICIOUS ARTICLE and an eventful journey into the past!
