Fuel gauge stopped working on August 18th

. I got this fuel pump on July 7th and with the holiday we had planned never installed it until July 22nd . I was driving my Silverado for that time, everything was going fine, with the pump/gauge installed everything was working fine on August 18th. I got into my S10 to go to work and the gauge said about 1/8th tank. I thought I ran out of gas on the way to the gas station after work. 2 days later it went back to 3/4 tank it stayed red and that's it for now the pump works fine but my advice is don't buy this pump its a lot of work taking the bed off to replace.
