Opening a connector. Please make sure it is big enough for another port before installation.
I don't think they tested the generator before packing it. The metal cover around the connection hole does not meet the specifications. The hole is small and out of shape. The socket does not fit. I found out after installing the generator. I had to take another picture to understand why the connector didn't fit. I used a flat head screwdriver to bend the metal to enlarge the hole. What a problem. When I have everything back I hope it works.
