High quality scale and easy to use. It turns itself off when you leave nothing on it, so you don't drain your batteries. Batteries included! This scale is very consistent and gives me the same reading every time. I can't speak to its accuracy because I don't have a second scale to compare it to, but I'd like to believe it's true. I have yet to find a kitchen item that is too heavy for this. My heaviest milk jug or wine bottle weighs well under 5kg. My heaviest piece is milk weighing just over 2kg. I bought this scale to make it easier and more accurate for me to keep track of my groceries so I can enter data into the FitBit app. It makes it silly and easy to keep track of my food. I don't have to worry about the size of the tortilla, I can just write down how many grams of the white flour tortilla I ate. I don't have to measure drinks - I just weigh the container before and after. Turns out my cups are 20 ounces, not 12 ounces. Oops. Weighing really tells a lot about what you're eating, and it makes estimating calorie intake almost perfect.
