Review on 🚰 Brita Marina Black Water Filter Pitcher - BPA Free, 8 Cup Capacity with Standard Filter by Betsy Clark

I am very disappointed with this jug and Brita. The first glass arrived with a crack apparently caused by rough handling. The packaging could have been better so I sent it back for free and got another one. After a few months of use and definitely past Revain's return window, the pitcher developed tiny stress cracks/cracks just like the ones mentioned in the reviews from two years ago. We are family friendly so I have downvoted these reviews possibly due to rough usage. I recommend that you believe the reviews that mention cracks. I have owned 5 Brita pitchers over the years. The plastic that Brita uses in these pitchers is inferior to other pitchers. Cracks formed around the handle, but did not leak. Then cracks formed around the drain spout, again there is no leak. Then cracks formed around the bottom of the jar and indeed they began to leak. "Why is the counter all wet?" With reviews here dating back two years mentioning cracks, Brita is aware of the problem with this brittle plastic and hasn't done anything about it. They clearly don't care about their customers and just resell the product. I'm looking for another brand. I will seriously consider never buying a Brita again. They just don't care.
