I bought this kettle for my induction cooker.
I bought this kettle to use with an induction burner as my other stainless steel kettle was not induction compatible. This one works fine for that. I don't use it on my gas stove, I still use my old and trusted kettle for that flame. I'm sure this one will work fine, but I don't want or need to use it there. I matched this kettle with a gallon of water on my induction burner to another kettle with a gallon of water on my gas burner and this kettle was 10 minutes faster at boiling water on induction. It's so big I can make a gallon of tea out of a kettle and still have water left over. It also has a loud whistle so I can hear it in other rooms. Stay clean and shiny.
