Everything works as advertised but don't expect OEM quality. They are "more flexible" and have a smaller piston and piston sleeve, but have more power than the original units. My factory originals have lasted since 2007 (when the jeep was new) and the pop-up is used daily, sometimes up to 10 times. . I compared them to the Mopar Factory block and was able to see that this BOXI block exerts more force than the MOPAR block (which is both good and bad - quick rise but more hinge wear). I ended up ordering them as the hijacker only ordered one and I needed to replace the reciprocating pistons before the trip. OEM units have a foam baffle (not used) which they do not have. The boxi block is also about 1/4 inch longer. No problem. Conclusion: inexpensive (less than a quarter of the new costs). How long they last remains to be seen. However.
