Top Heavy Scooter - Scooter

Acquired for my daughter 3 years old. She watches her siblings Razor scooters ride down the driveway and also enjoys riding them (she stands on one and we push them). We bought her this scooter in the hope that she can join her siblings soon. The problem with the scooter is that the base is too light as it is made of plastic. This makes it very heavy and prone to tipping over as the child learns to use it. I am sure that over time she will get the hang of it and eventually be ready for a standard two wheel scooter. I would prefer a metal base. Still, I like the look of the scooter. It looks like a little girl's scooter and is well built other than the basics. Over time, this scooter will fall in love with any child. The plastic base makes it feel cheaper than traditional Razor rollers.
