The Check Engine light came on on my Mercedes
I bought this gas cap because the connector to my OEM gas cap was worn and broken. Within a day of installation my car's check engine light came on and the dealer confirmed it was because this cap is not OEM and is causing an "open air" problem from the computer. After the OEM cover was installed, the issue was resolved. It cost me $300 at the dealer to fix the check engine light problem and get a new cover. Keep in mind!
