Came here insanely fast and it was a very good deal. $39 and some loose change is great, they're usually around $60-75 at regular retail. Very pleased. The stone works as it should. I like the base it spawns on. The only thing I don't like is that higher grit Kingstones like 6k and 8k have a severe "peeling" problem. The edges of the stone chip off and sometimes you get small flakes of water stone. It really annoys OH Yi, he smells really bad haha. 6k tends to smell a bit like cow dung or old dirt. 1k does not smell at all. I think you could also describe the smell as a really intense rubber. So! I highly recommend this purchase.
