First you hardly have to soak it for about 5 minutes. I gave it 8-10 since it was the first time but after that it was 3-5 minutes each time. Second, it is an amazing stone. It polishes the edge and even polishes it to a mirror finish if you take the time to leave a mush. A bit soft, you can cut it on the edge, but it feels good and does the job well. UPDATE: You don't need to soak for more than a minute or two. Basically spray and go, prolonged soaking will degrade the quality of the stone…
