DH just "saved" 3 sets of LED web lights, part of which were lost. There's more trial and error here than tracking down a failed bulb in a string, as the lights were arranged in the grids with logic that escaped us. We got around this by grabbing a silver metal marker to mark the 'good' lights as we walked along. If you think you've identified the culprit, be sure to check both wires going in and out of this light - if neither of them light up, it's your bad boy. The "Delete" tool at the bottom of this tool works great! However, it may require some help keeping the handles closed on the wire while you poke around, especially when working with power lanterns (like the thing that snaps in place to hold my garden hose nozzle in the on position. Squeeze the handles of the device so that it pierces the wire The price seems high for what it is but it paid for itself quickly - I'm pretty sure there is no other way to identify bad bulbs I kept these mains bulbs, and the exchange is not cheap.
