I attached a ball head camera mount and thank god not my camera. Part were the tripod screws at the base of the camera, which just twisted and twisted. I had to take the head off to find that there was no adjustment on the underside of the tripod screw, as if there was nothing to hold onto or loosen. After wrestling with it for a while, I finally got it to let go of the ball head and took it off. I don't know what I did, but you'd better check this before going with an expensive camera, otherwise you'll go through life with that monopod attached to your camera. The block is strong enough, I just don't like the design of the head. I'll fix it somehow. I hate spending good money and end up fixing a new product. Beware!
