All I can say is have a rubber mallet handy and grab a grinding wheel if you want it to fit. Many people said they were introduced immediately. This was not my experience. I hit the first one and it was so hard I was ready to send them back. After examining the fasteners more closely, I noticed that it was raised at the junction of the mold line. I tried sandpaper, then a file, but ended up using a sander to remove the excess material. I was then able to install but still needed a hammer to ensure a complete fit. At this point I was so frustrated that I got a little more aggressive with the drill and unscrewed one of the screws that came with it. I wouldn't buy them again and I definitely won't try to remove them.
