. F0510B2497 for LOMANCO 1AVENT 8000 or AVENT 80 no larger roof vent 4 roof vent vents After a slight delay in delivery, the engine arrived in good condition, delivery took about a week. Probably the hot spot in July and August. (Get it, the hot item is yuk-yuk.) It does NOT come with an armored flex cable jacket, so you'll have to reuse it from an old motor, or buy about 18 inches with a collar and nut for the thermostat side. This came with LOMANCO instructions but no brand or country of origin on the case. Shipping packaging was manufactured by Westrock in Fort Smith, Arizona. So if this motor is made in China, at least it was packaged and probably tested in the US. I have replaced these motors several times with units purchased from Lowes and have found that quality varies wildly. The shafts of some Lowes engines vibrated right out of the box, but this one was still and quiet. Will cause wobble/vibration so it is important to ensure it is perfectly balanced before reinstalling it in the attic. Secure the fan in a vise for safe testing. If you can't balance the fan blade but the motor spins smoothly, then it's probably better to buy a new fan blade. Enter the railing by standing at a 110 degree angle on the ladder in the attic. You can easily bend the fan blades when reinstalling, so it's a good idea to test this in the field before reassembling the thermostat. I tried lubricating and rebuilding the old motor as Randal Pozzi described above, but the shaft collar and reservoirs broke so the shaft still wobbles. It looks like the material of the reservoir also holds the stem in place. It spins freely enough and works, so I leave it in an emergency. Overall this is a good motor, expect a lifespan of 5 to 6 years, maybe more if you take it apart and lubricate it annually. . As far as I can see there is no easy way to lubricate them when installed.
