When looking for a great cast iron brazier, my eyes brought tears to my eyes at the outlandish prices being charged by big brands. Being in a big city I had the chance to see several of them in the same place and I'm here to tell you that to my trained professional chef's eye there isn't much of a difference. When I saw the lodge at a much cheaper price I thought something was wrong with it. Not correct. I've used it several times and it works, cooks, cleans, just looks great. Really great. Take this from a lifelong professional chef, you can't do better than this for functionality, cleanliness and delicious food. Every detail is first class. No one will ever know you saved a few dollars. And by the way, they make a great Christmas present. I wish someone would have given me one a year ago. I've longed for one my entire professional life.
