Review on 🌐 DMXking eDMX2 PRO: High-Performance Ethernet DMX Adapter with 2 Universe Support, PoE/USB (3-Pin) by Michael Reese

I love this thing. There are mostly gotchas in this review but don't get me wrong the thing is great and I have quite a few of them. I highly recommend. Windows setup/firmware upgrade only. For those of us with professional installs, using Windows might seem like an ugly hack. The hardware is solidly built, however, and the coding for Windows and OSX just for the setup screen is an understandable omission. So I did all my settings, took screenshots of the pages and now I'm 100% working without it. A little training in the recording/playback function. It's good, but not great. My fault was mainly in the program generating the code, not in DMXKing. I found that I was creating my show, recording it on the DMXKing, then uploading it from the device and using WireShark to selectively find the point in my show where it was looping. I then exported only the packages I needed, saved and loaded them into DMXKing. Is working. Don't forget that "DMX Universe - 1 = ArtNet Universe" (e.g. DMX Universe 3 = ArtNet Universe 2). I spent several hours diagnosing packets sent to the wrong universe :/
