I was new to sock knitting but not new to knitting. I used to use DPN for sleeves but never for socks. I had trouble with short DPNs at such a thin gauge and almost gave up sock knitting because I kept dropping stitches off the ends of needles or trying to wrap my big arms around all that forest of dots. I began to climb onto the joints of the needles. Then someone suggested 9 inch round coils. I did a lot of research and people kept saying that ChiaoGoo is much better. You were right. These needles are slipping! It took me 60% of the time with DPN, they go into the seams almost unmistakably, the seams run smoothly over the needles and connectors, and I find the position of the needles perfect for my hands.
