This prevents flooding if the outlet becomes clogged, which I think is too low. It's a great concept but a bit small for the price. You should make it a little wider to use the full width of the 29/20 long side of the tank, and maybe a little wider in the other direction. A smaller version fitted to the 10 gallon shortside would be fine, as would larger versions fitted to other standard tank sizes.
