This is what I was looking for to keep light loose objects from falling out when opening the tailgate. It's not really a barrier that will hold heavy objects. In fact, no one builds a barrier for these vehicles that will not allow heavy objects to slide over them. This is the same type of mesh that the retailer sells for around $55. People who think they can put food in it will be disappointed, it holds loose items that aren't very heavy but works great for preventing large light items from falling to the ground when the gate is open. The price was really good and it goes perfectly with the 2018 Traverse. Would buy again if I needed another one.
