Have you ever had one of those products that you weren't sure you'd like but turned out to be AWESOME?

I received this product while looking for a place for my phone to read Strava/Cyclemeter while riding. I didn't want to put my phone in my pocket and I didn't like a lot of the elastic/zipper/clip devices and wanted something more minimalistic. That's great. I was also concerned that my phone might fall off while driving. That's great too. I've hit bumps in strong crosswinds at over 25km/h with no problems. The mount is great and easy to assemble. Finally, the mount on the bike is metal, so if you need to bend it a bit to get the phone at the angle you want, no problem. A few thoughts to address some of the complaints regarding this: 1. If you are having trouble removing the steerer tube cover, it may be because it is easily held by the stem. Loosen the stem to see if it loosens the steerer cap.2. For those who have problems with the universal mount on the phone / case. You MUST clean the case with something that will remove oil or other contaminants from the surface you are sticking to. I've made sure to use an alcohol swab on my suitcase before, and now it sticks like a rock for hundreds of miles. It should be obvious, but just in case. They should have a flat surface for universal mounting, preferably with little or no texture. This should be fairly easy, if the thing is essentially a large sticker you should have the maximum surface area it will stick to.
