Look no further! This is the best helmet for babies and toddlers. Sturdy, well made with quality materials and adjustable with a dial on the back to fit your child's head. It FULLY covers baby's skull and upper neck/occipital bone, the straps are securely fastened deep inside the helmet, it has ample padding inside with well-designed vents and soft padding on the chin strap so it won't irritate your little one. It's him, it's him This helmet is as durable and well made as any other adult helmet my husband and I have. No other brand I've tried can match it. Like you, I may have chosen other, more authoritative helmet names first. Giro Infant/Toddler Helmet: Not adjustable and it's amazing - the chin straps are attached to the foam interior of the helmet with detachable Velcro and can be easily removed - imagine that in a fall? (Also, mine arrived with velcro straps taped to the styrofoam, actually melted in transit - madness. Giro is dangerous and should be recalled.) Also the infant/toddler Bell helmet is unsuitable. adjustable, and although the straps are firmly attached to the helmet, there's just bare smelly white foam on the kid's head with a few soft pieces of foam taped to it for 'comfort' or 'size' that doesn't really match it withstand helmet. durable and comfortable for baby's head. (Again, because it's not adjustable.) Also, those tiny, poorly glued pieces of soft foam were easily and beautifully ripped out by my 21-month-old, leaving the inside of the helmet bare and unpadded. At the first slight fall it also cracked slightly. None of these helmets have full coverage, adjustment, internal padding, or padded material on the chin strap. Giro and Bell = cheap, poorly designed, unregulated = not very secure. JOOVY Noodle FEST. You want to see such a helmet on your head and therefore on your child's head. It's worth the extra money and when you open it up and place it on your baby's cute little head and simply adjust it for the perfect fit with the dial, you'll have the same confidence as me. Ahh.
