This product has a stated wattage rating of over 2000w. I bought this based on this review but even when trying to use my 120v, 10w beard trimmer on the ONLY outlet, on which supposedly drops the voltage, my shaver was not working properly. I then hooked up the same shaver to one of the other "step down" adapters I've used for years (but only at 200w) and the shaver worked fine. The problem is that the "down" port on this device does NOT filter that voltage. At the top there are 2 other connectors that do nothing as they just pass the voltage this device is connected to. I will try to return this item and get a refund. Only purchase this item if you only need to operate a hair dryer. I'll look elsewhere for a higher wattage portable adapter, so should you.
