Pros and Cons for Kitchen and Dining

This was the first mandolin I bought so I have nothing to compare it to other than what is shown on cooking shows. You know, because watching TV makes everyone an expert. So I liked not cutting things by hand. I get very thin potato chips very quickly. I like that there are different attachments that are relatively easy to change. Well what I don't like. he swings He swings a lot. The stand doesn't stay where you put it, so you can lay it flat or hold it in your hand. Which is absolutely certain, I'm sure of it. Handguards suck. If you've ever heard a chef talk about handguards, you know that apparently everyone does, so I'll cut my finger ie break it here. It is ideal for soft dishes. Zucchini? You mean green cylindrical oil. Sweet potato? It's like trying to cut stones. And after a year it starts to rust. You should know that I take great care of my kitchen appliances. Wash immediately after use and dry immediately. I have no idea why that would cause rust. He did his job so I think it's time to start looking for a replacement. While it wasn't terrible, I think I'll look for one that's a little more robust. I also think before I buy I'll stop by a kitchen supply store to check out a few of the ones on display.
