I bought two of these but separately. When I got the first one I tested it to see if it was false advertising (I hate liars). fully discharge the battery and 3 hours to fully charge it from a discharged state. Well, I turned it on at full brightness and clipped it to my toolbox while I worked on my car and kept a close eye on the clock. Result: The battery drained in just under 2 hours (1 hour 50 minutes) and took just over 3 hours (10 minutes) to fully charge. Again those annoying 10 minutes lol My test was done at 65 degrees ambient temperature so keep that in mind as ambient temperature affects battery performance. In 80 degree weather this could match advertised numbers. So my little test was satisfactory and I ordered a second one. I am very happy with the product and the magnet is really strong enough. Another problem I had. One thing I've noticed is that this flashlight loses charge a bit quickly when unplugged. I've noticed that a fully charged battery loses about half of its standby charge in two days, so keep it plugged in when not in use. Also, it says that it comes with a Type-C port connector, with the old 2.0 port. I do not know why. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product and even recommend it to professionals like me. There is no need to buy a much more expensive half-power snap-on.
