The lids appear to be quite solid. The edges were a bit sharp and needed smoothing with sandpaper, but nothing major. The Advive Tape is branded by 3M, but it's not even close. I had real 3M tape and just replaced the tape that came with the lids. It's too early to tell if this will fade over time, but it looks like they'll last a long time.
