We had some metal garden art that was a bit rusty and needed repainting. Also, it was a solid metallic (somewhat) color, and if I was going to take the time to paint something, it had to be more than one color. I'm an accountant and don't have much skill/patience in this area so I needed something SIMPLE. And I don't want to do this regularly (ie more than once), so I made sure to get some outdoor paint and some varnish for the finished project. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use. Squeeze it out of the bottle and apply it to the project. And if you catch it fast enough, you can wipe the bugs off with some water. Most of the items had a black main component so I just used a black spray can for the big parts and used those colors for the details/focal points. This took a few days as I let some parts dry and re-glued the other parts, but I feel my time was well spent. I unwrapped 2 pieces and am planning to hang blue and purple wings on a butterfly chair for my next project. If I run out of color I will choose this look again!
