Like the others listed, I received 5 incompatible bits in my set. However, they were all marked "NAS 907 (drill size) CO". A quick search reveals this to be a precision twist drill, made in the USA from the same 907 alloy as advertised. Tip angle, tip spacing and length are as expected. The only difference besides the markings is the smooth black coating on the bands of these bits for improved chip evacuation; only present on precision twist bits. This confirms my suspicion that Drill America is simply buying bits in bulk and filling in the indices for resale. There's nothing wrong with that per se, but it does answer the question about mismatched set reports. All bits sold to me are made in the USA, all cobalt 907 as advertised. There are few drill bit manufacturers in the US, most drill bit sellers in the US are just middlemen. I expect them to drill like all my USA made cobalt drill bits.
