Verizon DSL in the house, I rented a room.
The Verizon DSL in the house where I rented a room went out every 10 minutes when all roommates and devices were using the bandwidth of the Verizon provided modem/router and it was the only way to restore it . was to drop it. We bought this modem/router and the service hasn't stopped since we got it and it's still working for 7 months. Did exactly what we needed.
