I received mine on 05/10/2021. But I haven't been able to use it until today (June 19, 2021). I only bought it for one reason; to access my old drives. I put it in and the bottom of the reader almost popped out! I checked all device cables and everything is fine. I turned it on and it worked right away. GREAT! The drive I want to copy is only 80 gigabytes, so I started by copying its files to my PC's 1TB internal SSD. But the reader stopped working at 1%! I turned it off, restored the 80 gig drive and plugged it back in and turned it on. NOTHING! It pretends to see the disc but refuses to load the disc. Thinking it might be because the drive is vertical, carefully propped the unit and drive up on the side and powered it on. NOTHING. I reinstalled it, turned it on and after 8 seconds it saw the hard drive. So I started copying files again. Then disconnect the device from the drive again! Drive is fine. I just took it out of its working outer case. The reader is in no way offended, imitated or pushed. No cables, no 80GB drive inserted. There is absolutely no reason to stop reading a disc! I skipped "Windows Druve Recovery" in my overview video because the device shuts down before it has a chance to shut down!
