Works great. I was able to get 89V at 715W with a 36V supply. There is a serious drawback that limits its use in most applications. There is an output current limit, but no input inrush current limit, and the inrush current to the capacitors is enormous, enough to burn out the XT60 connector (rated 60A continuously and up to 180A for a few seconds). I can add a thermistor to the input, but that would increase the quiescent power by ten watts. There is no good way to provide power without creating a large arc. Handling would be better with instructions.
