The pressure gauge started leaking immediately. I played around with it and played around with it for 30 minutes. At first I thought the hose wasn't tight enough on the gauge, tightened it up (just by hand - no tools) and it was still leaking, then pulled out the hose fitting gasket and turned it inside out. (appears to have one flat side and one conical side) then hand tightened again but still leaking, then replaced the conical o-ring and fitted a new, thicker, better quality o-ring - still leaking! I think I sprayed about a "shot" of gasoline around the top of the engine. This time, after running the machine for a while and checking the connection, I noticed that what looked like mountain dew was collecting inside the meter. Fuel leaked INSIDE the gauge and dripped/splashed out of the hole in the metal case where the brass fitting is screwed into the case with two Phillips head screws. The hose fitting was fine the whole time, but the pressure gauge bulb has mechanically failed internally. Not too upset. However, I believe I got what I paid for. Hopefully the spare kit will be of good caliber this time.
