Fairly good budget

My wife and I bird watch and have more expensive gear on hand. I recently bought a cheaper pair of Wingspan binoculars as a spare and was so impressed I decided to try the budget scope. I have to say I am happy with the quality of this scope for the price. It's a lot better than the budget Bushnell we own, although it falls short of the high-end Celestron. Picture quality is good with no issues listed in some of the lower reviews. This can be a quality control issue, and if you get good volume, you'll get good volume. Its light weight and low price make it ideal for most trips, especially by plane. The zoom operation could be a little smoother. The cell phone adapter works fine, but the Nikon adapter is a little awkward to install on my 5100 and the camera gives a "Lens not connected" error. To be honest I haven't tried to solve this problem so there might be a solution. The outer packaging was ok but the corner of the inner packaging was damaged. Scope and accessories were not damaged.

  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
