Review on 🧼 Bacto-Surge Mini Foam Filter by HIKARI by Jesse Blair

This is the perfect size for my 6 gallon Betta aquarium. The angled design allows for a snug fit on the side without looking awkward like some cylindrical sponges. I hooked it up to the Aquarium Co-Op Nano Air Pump. Works very well, this sponge filter also works well with my air valve. I also had a Co-Op coarse nano sponge filter, but I hated its coarseness. I felt the water was still full of debris and not clear. However, this Hikari Bacto-Surge polishes the water much better as it is thinner and denser. The airflow also seems to be more focused on this thing. I just wish there was a way to attach the air stone, but that's fine. Bubbles are not too aggressive, definitely seen worse. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a sponge filter for a nano aquarium. The quality is far superior to some other common options here at Revain.
