Review on 🍳 Silver Farberware Classic 2-Quart Covered Stainless Steel Saucepan by Alan Massey

Was this item sold because of a defect? I ask you seriously. I was so excited when I got my pot that I decided to give it a try right away, I poured some oil in the pan, waiting for it to get hot to add some veggies when all of a sudden the bottom of the pot started burning , and smoking. I immediately took it off the stove, rinsed it with water, only to find a long burn mark in the pot, as if the iron itself had melted (see photo). Since then I've cleaned it countless times, tried using the pan again, this burn mark is definitely permanent and most likely due to a material defect in the pan. I would definitely be happy about a new one!
