I love these stainless steel Luverne side steps. They may be "old school" but they look good and hide the ugly "welds" along the underside of the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado Rocker. These steps install in the same place as the factory or OEM steps. . . So you don't have to drill. Note: They must be delivered in 2 boxes. One for steps and one for brackets. I got my 2017 Colorado with OEM factory footboards and found them to be too narrow, plus snow collects on them and freezes in winter. The Luverne steps protrude about an inch more than the factory steps and have a rubber grommet around the top edge. A bit of road debris or snow doesn't get on the luvern steps like narrow factory steps. Also, my wife likes that they are wider and easier to get in and out of the truck. I had the same Luverne steps on my 2010 Colorado and wish my 2017s never had factory steps installed. The only problem was that the first order Revain only sent ONE box of steps, the second order only came with ONE box of mounting brackets. I had my first confusion with Revain shipping but it was resolved well with the help of the usually professional and polite customer service. Thank you Rewin! A++
