It didn't work for me, who knows.
I've always had a Macbook Pro 2017 and a BlackMagic Ultra Mini Studio to get my SDI stream to stream on my Mac. I recently got rid of my Mac and got a Surface Book 2, no Thunderbolt so I got this device. SDI connected to it and the video in the wired transmission was flickering and only 1/4 was showing. These are not cables as they have always worked well and the camera is fairly new. Sending back bought an Epiphan Av.io SDI which cost a lot more money but it will do what I need without the need for a power supply which is a big plus.
