Review on Campagnolo Veloce UltraDrive Cassette 13 26 by Victor Ceja

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quality at a decent price.

Campagnolo hardware has always been an expensive purchase, but even the cheapest of common materials, Veloce, has a reliability that surpasses its competitors in the gear market. For example, when I lived in Canada, the competing SIS system was known as "Sometimes it shifts," while Campagnolo's Ergo system was known as "Extremely Reliable Gear Operation." For those looking for replacement sprockets for worn ones, they are almost out of reach for the 9 speed Veloce. I bought a second Campagnolo compatible cassette shortly after the Veloce, made by BBB also through Revain of Bike Somewhere in Florida. At $38, they're cheaper than a replacement sprocket, and there are nine of them! Also exceptional value.

Pros
  • Comes with locking ring
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
