We bought this to use as a floater for our anchored boat. We anchored for a couple of hours and something about the dock really encouraged tag games and creative diving that the swim deck doesn't have. Plenty of room for jumps and silly moves. It's not too slippery but be careful if it's not secured you can create unintentional physical comedy like I did getting off the boat as the dock drifted away and I ended up in the water. Fun! I can't fully recommend it for dogs without knowing how rough your dog can take it or how long it will withstand dog use, but it's been great for my dog so far. He came back easily after the swim and then we pushed him to the boat so he could jump up. My dog doesn't use a ladder and at 40lbs we're pushing the limits of what we can take on board so that made a huge difference. revivals roll. When I tested, I left my can of seltzer without holding it and it didn't tip over. Folding it up wasn't too difficult, even when the air was blown out by hand. The pump included in the kit is prime only, and I purchased a powerful pump with blow-off adjustment separately. The only downside is the price. I hope that for the price we will enjoy it for many years.
