Fell apart in a week in the marine environment

The anchor fell apart completely after about a week of use today. Broke into 6 pieces when I opened it just before using it on my boat. Useless now and didn't have time to figure out what went wrong. I immediately grabbed my real Danforth anchor and deployed it instead. It should also be noted that the foam float was immediately torn by the rope during installation. You should remake the canvas pad so it doesn't loop around itself, or get a real PVC float. If it hadn't fallen apart I would have given it 4 stars.
