Review on PTK-6525 Primula 2.5 qt. Stainless Steel Whistling Stovetop Tea Kettle by Nicole Davis

I started using a coffee press and only used pots to boil water which wasn't the best solution as we had saved some. Instead, I opted for a kettle. It was a great decision. It has already found so many great uses. This kettle has a good price. Right out of the box you can see that it is very basic but fully functional and has a stunning stainless steel finish. The lid has a recess so that it does not slip when you put it on. The handle and spout covers are black plastic. The nose does whistle, albeit less than in the movies. I've used it to heat water for morning coffee and hot oatmeal. I've also used it to boil water and add it to a pasta pot. I also plan to take this campsite. Already tried it with my MSR pocket oven (see photo). It's stable! If there's a time to drink copious amounts of coffee, it's when you're out on a hike. It was a worthwhile purchase.
