Helps reduce clutter but doesn't completely prevent spills.

I am happy with these jar lids, they do what I want which is to reduce the mess of an accidental spill and lessen my paranoia that something I can't see got into my jar. I find them easy, although I've only tried them in 12-ounce cans. They're not completely airtight, but they help prevent spills. The part that leaked for me was actually the lid, not where the plastic lid meets the jar. The lid only leaked a little after holding it on its side for about 15 seconds. I've attached a photo showing the leak. One thing I've noticed is that if you're drinking from a bottle that has the can oriented so that the can opens at your lips like you would normally drink from a can, you actually have to push the bottle/can quite far tilt backwards to fill the top cavity of the bottle. enough to reach your lips. Turning the glass (backwards) so the neck is away from the mouth fills the bottle cavity more easily and it's not uncomfortable because you don't have to tilt the bottle/glass so far. I've posted a picture in case my description is too confusing.
