Review on πŸ”§ Enhance Wheel Performance with Timken 515020 Axle Bearing and Hub Assembly by Greg Baker

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Most likely fake bearings

I bought 2 of these (SP580205 and then 515020 because I needed a lead wire instead of a thin one) to replace my old ones which were worn out and less After 2 thousand miles than I took it to replace the leaf spring bushings, they were both already out of balance. The mechanic physically showed me the play/movement they had. Unfortunately, 6 months later that was outside the return window. IF YOU WANT TO BUY THIS, BUY 100% EXTENDED WARRANTY. As for me, I will now buy (probably genuine) Timken bearings from 1A Auto on ebay which have a lifetime warranty. It costs an additional $250 for a pair, but it's worth remembering that I probably won't be coming back in another 6 months to replace them again and will probably save me money on repairs in the long run if they really do last a lifetime.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Pretty ok
