Review on Great Day TS300 Truck Side Step by Pete Deutsch

The distance on my hitch between the front of the receiver and the bar where the ball is attached is about 1 inch. The footrest requires 2 inches of clearance. I had to buy a new clutch with an extended rod. In addition, the side step is difficult to attach to the trailer hitch; sits very tight. When hammered in, the male end where the step is inserted will bend slightly so the step will not fit. I have to do a little work to open it again. The installation instructions were very difficult to read. Great Day copier needs a new toner cartridge! This was received as a Christmas present; I might be able to get it over the weekend 12/13. January to install.
