Easy to install and well tested. It improves the Wi-Fi signal, not much but it improves. I did a signal test on my iPad with the original antenna and this amplifier, not as strong as I was hoping at 9dB but better than the original. The biggest problem is that the elbow joint is not strong enough to hold the antenna in any position other than vertical. If you just want it to go straight up and down it will stand still, if they need maneuvering at all it will fall. It's omnidirectional, so vertical mode works in most applications. If the vertical option isn't possible, then that amp lies there and the signal fades out.
