Ok some of the reviews scared me a little after reading all the nightmares. I was skeptical about buying it as I'm just a weekend warrior it's a lot of money for it but as I have a BMW, Hyundai and Dodge truck as well as my kids cars I decided to buy them. Let me just say I had no problem registering this with Autel online and I took the serial number and password right off the machine screen as it appears online. After logging in, I also installed the CD that came with it. I did it with no problems. Then I bought a 32GB SD card (Ultra), never mind but that's the maximum, I clicked Install all updates to card and everything went on. I then took the card out of the 8GB machine and updated it as a backup. I will also order another 32 GB for safe storage. No problem, my serial number had the letter Q, which corresponds to the US number. My wifi works fine too. Haven't used it much yet but man am I so excited I can't wait.
