I waited a few months before writing a review. On the one hand, I love this rug! Everyone who has seen it loves it. It's beautiful and fun in a room I wanted to decorate with some color. It is thick and makes sitting on hard floors more comfortable. However, the rug is looped, not cut, and while I have rolled other wool rugs in the same manner as this one near my porch, which after years of moving only has a hook or two, this one had half a dozen. draws an hour after shedding. So if, like me, you plan on letting people and pets walk on it in your living room, you should look elsewhere. The good news is that with a little downtime, some fabric glue, and a couple of toothpicks, this is an easy fix. The bad news is that more and more bugs are popping up every day. Curiously, he accidentally vomited and was promptly washed with soapy water with no stains. People who complain about pile don't understand the nature of wool rugs. This is what wool carpet yarn does. This one isn't bad at all. It actually leaves very little lint and all the lint is easily swept away as you vacuum up the dirt. Under $200 for a 9x12 wool rug I'm happy, but if I paid the regular price I'd be dissatisfied with all the snags and snapped threads.
