I bought this product to slightly improve the Wi-Fi signal in my house (which unfortunately blocks signals very well) - unfortunately it didn't help and actually seems to be reducing the signal strength. I moved the router out of the corner it was in after installing it and it still didn't get any better. They were bought so I could move the antennas to a more central location away from the router case - they are not the easiest to mount as the underside is covered with felt - so nothing sticks to it which could also damage the wall. I used a professional frequency analyzer that I use for work and the difference in signal strength with the same router in the same place was about 5-10dBm above (worse) than the factory antennas.
