There's a difference
This is my second Surgi-Sharp contra-angle for my knife sharpening business. Since I make about 60 knives a day, this jig is an essential part of my blade accuracy. I've tried several cheaper versions of this mount but they failed my test on a small knife and the quality has noticeably gone down. With Surgi-Sharp, the gap between the tensioner and the belt is very small, which is ideal when you have a narrow or improperly sharpened thin fillet or paring knife that needs reconditioning. For me the best jig on the market.
